ORDERING:
About security. All online transactions are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption provided through Yahoo! Shopping.
To order our different items, look for the box with the small "down arrow" in it. Press on the arrow, click on the style you want and it will be highlighted. Then press the "Add to Cart" button. More information on ordering is available by clicking on the Help button in the button bar. An order can be cancelled at any time during the ordering process.
GUARANTEE:
All items carry a 30 day money back satisfaction and quality guarantee. So if you are unhappy with any item for any reason, if you send it back we will refund your money. The customer is responsible for the return shipping expenses. For bulk orders of Hawaiian shirts, we do not accept returns since they are "made to order" for you. We can send a sample shirt first, which may be returned so that you can be assured of the quality of the product. We want you to be very satisfied with any order.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:
Please send any returns or exchanges to:
HawaiiStores.com,
P.O. Box 10894,
Honolulu, HI 96816.
You can call us first for faster service on exchanges.
We can not reimburse you for the return shipping charges, but we will not charge you for the shipping charge of sending the newly exchanged item back to you.
SHIPPING:
We ship primarily by FedEx "Second Day Air" (usually it takes three days to most areas beyond the west coast). This is at "no extra charge" (we calculate your shipping cost using the the Post Office regular mail rates). It will take longer than three days since we also have to process and pack the order.
We prefer FedEx because we know it will arrive on time, and we can track the package accurately once it is sent. If you need the item for a special occasion, we have a "due date" box on the order form where you can request a shipping date.
Our Hawaiian shirts are "made to order" within two weeks, but it may take longer. For this reason, we have an area of the order form for you to fill in the date you need to receive the order by. If we cannot fulfill the order in time we will notify you as soon as possible. If the shirt is in stock though, it will ship faster. Larger items may be sent by the United States Postal Service "Priority Mail" service. Shipping charges for all services are calculated automatically for all U.S. orders and may be adjusted lower if the shipping ends up being less than what was originally calculated.
To check shipping costs (it's easier than it seems, just follow the "Check Out" forms instructions):
1) Add the items you want to the shopping cart.
2) Press "Check Out"
3) Type in your name, address and phone number.
4) Press "Continue"
5) Look to the right side to see the shipping expenses. You may "Cancel" your order at any time and we will not have any record of your personal information.
EXPRESS SHIPPING:
We can also ship by Fedex Priority Overnight services, which at its fastest (along with all other express services) usually takes two days from Hawaii to the Continental U.S. Please call us to make sure we have the items in stock and can get it to you on time. The cost would be approximately double the shipping cost shown when you are checking out and type in your address at the shopping basket.
SHIPPING WITH YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBERS: If you have an account with FedEx, UPS, DHL or another shipping company let us know. We can set up the order to go through your preferred shipping company.
TRACKING NUMBERS:
Tracking numbers are sent by e-mail once the item is sent.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Sorry, we do not ship internationally.
SALES TAX:
No sales taxes will be charged if you live outside of the state of Hawaii. If you live in Hawaii the order may be charged the state tax rate of 4%, but we usually pay the tax for you.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
We accept Mastercard, VISA and American Express. You can also pay by sending a money order. Then we will send out your order as soon as we receive it. If you want to send a check instead of a money order, we will wait until it "clears" to send out your order. Please make the money order or check payable to "Lots of Aloha."
PRIVACY POLICY: We will RESPECT your privacy and keep all information confidential. We are an autonomous company on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We will not solicit sales from you. In fact we post two large "No Solicting" signs near our own front door since one is not enough! Also we believe it would be rude and wrong to give out your personal information to anyone else to do with what they please. So we will not share or sell any of your personal information with any other companies for any reason.
OUR BACKGROUND:
I have always worn "Aloha Shirts" (in the past it was usually my older brother's ones from the Sixties) even when it was considered out of fashion to do so even in Hawaii. I first became interested in Hawaii souvenirs when I moved to the "mainland" (continental U.S.). When I would vacation back in Hawaii I wanted to get a few gifts for friends. I found that it was fun to be a tourist and search around in Waikiki to find mementos. I eventually returned to Hawaii. I left my career as a toy designer/modelmaker (designed and built the first prototype of the "Super Soaker 30'" watergun along with many other fun toys!) because I missed family, friends and the ocean. If you have grown up in Hawaii, lived here, were stationed here, visited here, or have really dreamed about coming here, you know exactly how I feel. There's no place like Hawaii.
The surfing picture at the top of this page was taken by the professional surf photographer, John Bilderback (www.surfphotos.com), the day before Hurricane Iniki hit on September 11th, 1992. As one of the owners of this company, I was happy to be in the right "secret" spot that day! This is a five foot high wave for the boys, the men surf the twenty foot plus size waves.
With Lots of Aloha,
Ethan
